About
Megan M. Rivera
I'm a Chicago-based multidisciplinary artist interested in fashion, illustration, and all things handmade. I am especially focused on creating wearable art for those who love colorful and funky fashion. I love to upcycle clothing and bags by hand painting and altering them, creating one of a kind, bold items made to last. I design unique jewelry including beaded necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, and hairclips. When I'm not designing fashion accessories, I love to go back to my roots of fine art and illustration by creating new acrylic paintings. My background in traditional colored pencil illustration greatly influences the themes of nature and whimsy in my current art practice today.
